Our Staff

Zach Cummings grew up nearby in California, MO. He graduated High School in 2015 and started training at Gracie Barra only three years later in 2018. 

 

He enjoyed training and competing with Gracie Barra leading him to get certified as a coach in 2023. Coaching has been very rewarding for Coach Zach. He loves working with kids and seeing the "light bulb" go off when they finally put something together. He also loves seeing jiu jitsu transform kids who are shy and quiet into confident students surrounded by a group of friends at school. 

 

Full time, he works as a Family Advocate at Coyote HIll Foster Care Ministries. When not working or training, he enjoys working on cars and motorcycles, camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, video games, and spending time with his family and daughter.
